Two days of weather not to be complained about were in store for our championship held over the weekend hosted excellently by Builth Wells Golf Club. There were some tough games but coming out on top was Sherrie Edwards-21 years since she last took home the silverware.
Thank you to all the competitors and supporters and to Builth for hosting. We look forward to seeing how the team fare in 2025. The first match will be against Denbighshire and Flintshire at Wrexham GC on the 11 May.

Congratulations to Lucy from Llanidloes Golf Club on winning our Junior Championship on Saturday. Lucy also qualified for the ladies championship and made it to the semi-finals and has been selected for the County Squad. Well done Lucy and good luck for the year ahead!
Thanks go to Penrhos for hosting the Teams of Three today. You certainly laid on the sunshine for us!

With the sun shining hopefully those clubs are getting a dust down and you are raring to get on the golf course ladies. Weβve number of competitions coming up in April and entries are open.
Your league captains will have received the 2025 rules, group draw, contact sheet and results sheet. This year the format will be Greensomes. The rules, draw info and a copy of the results sheet are also up on the Handicap League page. Please contact Mair Walker, League Organiser with any queries.

Entry Forms are now live on the website. County Books will be available from your delegates. Still at the bargain price of Β£5 for members of affiliated clubs and Β£10 for associate members.
In a belated update to the website, Llandrindod were crowned Handicap League winners after defeating St Giles at Builth Wells on the 17th November 2024. Congratulations Ladies and well done to St Giles as runners up.
With a forecast of heavy rain we made our way to Llanymynech on Sunday with trepidation. The early teams had the best of the weather and some even managed to get in before the heavens opened and the fog came down. Scores are over 15 holes accordingly.

Congratulations to Hayley Price on winning the best gross trophy in the Stableford and to Catrin Pugh Jones on the nett salver at yesterdayβs MWCGA competition. Well done to all the divisional winners and to everyone else who played. Thanks you to Builth Wells GC for hosting the Autumn meeting. The weather was kind and the course was in fantastic condition.
