With a forecast of heavy rain we made our way to Llanymynech on Sunday with trepidation. The early teams had the best of the weather and some even managed to get in before the heavens opened and the fog came down. Scores are over 15 holes accordingly.

Congratulations to Hayley Price on winning the best gross trophy in the Stableford and to Catrin Pugh Jones on the nett salver at yesterday’s MWCGA competition. Thank you Welshpool for hosting the Team of 3 Scramble on 21 July. There was only 0.4 separating the top two teams! Congratulations to Hayley Price, Lindsay Jones and Sandra Hodnett who pipped Ellen Jones, Sherrie Edwards and Chris Hughes into second place. A team from Welshpool were third, and Lakeside, fourth. Well done to everyone who played.

Held on the 25 June 2024. The course was in good condition and played well, and mostly the players avoided the heavy showers.  Our hosts at Brecon couldn't have been more welcoming - from the Ladies' Captain and the ladies who ran the competition, to the caterers and bar staff - and it was a very happy day.
