Autumn Teams of 3 results!

The Autumn Team of 3 competition was held at Penrhos Park Golf and Country Club today in what turned out to be very pleasant conditions indeed. Whilst wet under foot (and where wouldn’t have been today?) the course was looking fantastic and the eucalyptus (which a certain member of the Builth contingent saw a lot of) was beautiful, if somewhat lacking in koala bears.

The winners today were the Llanymynech trio of Annie Prince, Sian Whiteoak and Ginette Thurston with 69 points. Pictured below with Penrhos Lady Captain, Sara Rees-Evans

In second place were Builth Wells mummy and daughter gang, Chris Hughes, Lisa Hughes and Sherrie Edwards with 67 points.

Third place went to the Welshpool/Llanidloes group, Sue Jones, Diana Naylor and Lynda Davies with 65 points.

Fourth place, winning on the count back with 64 points from both Brecon/Cradoc (31) and Cradoc (29) were Hayley Price, Lindsay Jones and Grace Edwards from Builth Wells. (no photo).

The only two of the day was claimed by Sarah Rees-Evans on the third. She won so many balls a carrier bag was required….
