'Summer' Teams of 3 Results

Congratulations to the team from Llandrindod Wells who take home the spoils from today’s Team of 3 held at Builth Wells Golf Club. A bit of wind and rain proved no match for Julie, Heidi and Jan!

The early teams, of which Llandrindod was one had the worst of the rain which to be fair could be described as biblical on times. With the afternoon proving blustering with further showers, the possible thunder and lightning stayed away and the afternoon teams made good time. Many thanks to all at Builth Wells who provided a very warm welcome. .

There were no twos however a massive congratulations to Lynn Mamos of Aberdovey who secured her first hole in one on the 11th. Lynn is a massive supporter of the County and it was a pleasure to see such a super smiley person even smilier!

Finally, thank you to you all for turning up and playing. The weather cannot be helped and the forecast cannot be trusted! In recent years the committee has decided that calling off competitions is a last resort and in most cases will only occur should a course be closed. The hosting clubs receive only a small proportion of the entry fee and will have turned away green fees to accommodate us. Your support and understanding is most appreciated.
